West Coast Amber American Amber Ale * *
Moderate hoppy aroma, a bit dry and light. A bit of a chalky flavor. Not enough crystal in the profile (although the beer certainly is red). Underdeveloped.
Bitter Bitter * * * 1/2
Nice malt and crystal aroma. Delicate, clean, balanced. Good hop bite. Nicely nuanced.

Kolsch American-brewed "Kolsch" * * * 1/2
Brilliant clear, straw colored. A hint of malt in the aroma. The flavor is clean with a hint of maltiness, a dash of bitterness, and a nice slight winey note common in the style.
Kristal Winter wheat ale * *
Pale, just south of amber in appearance. A slight maltiness and wheatiness in the flavor, but the yeast profile preferred in the style is not evident.
