Try to use as soft of water as possable.(bottled water) Very easy beer to make and really turns out well.


Recipe type: Extract
Batch Size: 5gl.
Starting Gravity: 1.068
Finishing Gravity: 1.010
Time in Boil: 45min
Primary Fermentation: 17days@45degrees
Secondary Fermentation: 5days@45degrees



Bring 6gl. water to boil. Steep the grains for 10 min. Ad malt,1oz saaz,1/2oz liberty and start a 45 min. boil. Ad 1/2oz liberty at 35 min. Just before turning off heat ad last oz saaz,maple syurp and irish moss. let stand 5 min. before chilling.
