This is about as close to Upland Brewing Dragonfly IPA as you can get without going to Bloomington.
Specifics
Recipe type: All Grain
Batch Size: 5.5 gal
Starting Gravity: 1.062
Finishing Gravity: 1.012
Time in Boil: 90 min
Primary Fermentation: 1 week glass @ 66F
Secondary Fermentation: 2 weeks glass @ 66F
Ingredients:
- 10 lbs pale 2 row
- 8 oz dextrin
- 4 oz Belgian Aromatic malt
- 4 oz 40*L Carm
- 4 oz 80*L Carm
- 3 oz Ahtanum hops 90 min.
- 1 oz Cascade hops 90 min
- .5 oz Ahtanum hops 10 min
- .5 oz Cascade hops 10 min
- 1.5 oz Ahtanum hops dry hop
- .5 oz Cascade hos dry hop
Procedure:
Mash 4lbs/gallon at 152F for 1 hour. Test for starch conversion.
Collect 6.5 gallons wort
Boil 90 min
Chill wort and pitch Wyeast 1335 British Ale II
Dry hop in secondary 1-2 weeks.
