This is our first all grain attempt so we stuck with a simple 1 step infusion mash. It's not done fermenting yet, but I could tell from the taste/consistency of the wort and the feeling of the whole thing that it would be the best one yet. I am a big fan of hop oil to get that great dry hopped aroma/flavor without the mess of dryhopping.

Batch Size: 5 gal
Starting Gravity: 1.065
Finishing Gravity: ?
Time in Boil: 60 min
Primary Fermentation: violent fermentation
Secondary Fermentation: following violent fermentation
Ingredients:
- 10.5 lbs British Pale 2 row
- 3/4 lbs Crystal 20L
- 1/2 lbs Victory Malt
- .75 oz chinook (60 min)
- .75 oz cascade (25 min)
- 1 oz cascade (15 min)
- 1 oz cascade (2 min)
- casacade hop oil (at bottling/kegging)
- 1 tsp Irish moss (25 min)
- priming sugar
Procedure:
Mash grains in 3.5 gal water at 148 degrees for 1.5 hours. Raise to 170 deg. Sparge with 4.75 gal of 170-180 deg water, collect 5.75 gal in brew pot. Boil for 60 min, adding hops/irish moss accoding to ingredients list. Chill wort/rack into carboy. Rack into secondary fermenter when violent fermentation is done. Bottle/keg when secondary fermentation is done. Bottle/keg with priming sugar and add hop oil at 3 PPM (according to mfr. specs).
