O.G. Pale Ale

The beer came out much lighter in body than I had intended, and as a result, the aggressive hop schedual was over powering. I would cut down on some of the bittering hops if your efficiency is as low as mine is.
Some months later... this beer has aged very well, and the hops are much more mellow. A very delicious, and hoppy, California Pale Ale.

Finishing Gravity:
Time in Boil: 75 minutes
Primary Fermentation: 1 week
Secondary Fermentation: 2 weeks
Additional Fermentation: in bottles for 2 weeks before drinking
Ingredients:
- 20# American 2 row
- 2# Crystal 60L
- 1/2# White Weat Malt

- 2oz. Perle (6.4% AAU) 60 minutes
- 2oz. Cascade (6.0% AAU) 20 minutes
- 2oz Cascade (6.0% AAU) 5 minutes
- 2oz Cascade (6.0% AAU) Dry Hop

- White Labs California Ale Yeast
Procedure:
Mash all grains at 155F for 2 hours with 8 gallons 175F, sparge with 8 gallons 175F.
