this recipe is out of THE HOMEBREWERS RECIPE GUIDE, I'ts an excellant porter that is bitter with subtle chocolaty sweetness.if you like porter try this one.

Procedure:

place crushed crystal malt, black patent,torrefied wheat,and roasted barley in water, and steep at 155 deg. for 30 min. remove spent grains add malt extract and bittering hops, and boil for 30 min..Add melted chocolat(2 min in micriwave dose nicely) and boil 30 min. add aroma hops last 5 min. of boil. cool wort and pitch yeast. fermint for 5 to 7 days, then transfer to secondary fermenter,age 10 to 14 days.bottle and age 4 to 6 weeks.
