Ever tried Hempen Ale? This is my stab at it. An interesting brew to say the least. Try it, and mums the word on where you acquire the seeds!

Starting Gravity: 1038
Finishing Gravity: 1018
Time in Boil: 60 MINUTES
Primary Fermentation: 5 DAYS @ ALE TEMPS
Secondary Fermentation: 1 WEEK @ ALE TEMPS
Ingredients:
- 6 POUNDS NORTHWESTERN GOLD EXTRACT
- 1 POUND CRYSTAL MALT (20L)
- 1/2 POUND CARAPILS
- 1/2 POUND CHOCOLATE MALT
- 1 OZ PERLE HOP PELLETS 60 MINUTE BOIL
- 1 OZ GROUND HEMP SEEDS 60 MINUTE BOIL
- 1 OZ GROUND HEMP SEEDS 30 MINUTE BOIL
- 1 OZ MT. HOOD HOP PELLETS 10 MINUTE BOIL
- 1 TSP IRISH MOSS 10 MINUTE BOIL
- 2 PACKS MORGAN ALE YEAST
- 3/4 CUP CORN SUGAR FOR PRIMING
Procedure:
Steep grains for 30 minutes at 160 degrees.
Boil ingredients for the specified times.
Enjoy a strange brew, indeed!
