Beats the commercial brand all the time in blind taste tests. Has scored in the mid 40s in every contest I've entered. I'd say it is probably my best beer to date.


Recipe type: All Grain
Batch Size: 5gl
Starting Gravity: 1.042
Finishing Gravity: 1.010
Time in Boil: 90min
Primary Fermentation: 1wk @60deg in glass
Secondary Fermentation: 2wks @68deg in glass



Mash grains for 30 min @ 122deg then 60 min @ 150deg Use 1oz hops for First Wort then 1oz at beginning of boil. Add 1oz 45 min into the boil. And the final 1oz and1tsp of Irish Moss for the final 5 min of boil.
