This always comes out nice. I think it's probably a bit stronger that Anchor Steam, and to be authentic you'd probably want to switch the cascade hops to northern brewer. The cascade seems to work nice though.

Batch Size: 5 gallons

Finishing Gravity: n/a
Time in Boil: 60 min
Primary Fermentation: 5 days
Secondary Fermentation: 7 days

Ingredients:

9 lbs 2-row pale ale
3 1/3 lbs crystal 60 degrees
0.25 lb carapils
3 oz chocolate
2oz Northern Brew Hops, 60min
1oz Cascade, 30 min
1oz Cascade, 5 min
Wyeast 2112

Procedure:

Protein rest 30min bring it up for about 60min and sparge
