Ingredients:
- 4 Lbs Beestons Maris Otter
- 3 Lbs Beestons Golden Promise
- 2.5 lbs of yams, peeled and boiled with some pie spices
- 1 lb DWC caravienna
- .5 lb Special B
- 6 lbs Northern Brewer gold extract
- 1 oz northern brewer (7.5 AA)(70 min)
- starter from 1 vial White labs trappist
Procedure:
Step infusion mash the grains and pre boiled yams with a rests at 130, 155, and 165. Sparge to seven gallons and boil with the extract. I bottle conditioned this beer in german half liters and one bottle will let you know you have had a beer.
