Dog's Balls Chilli Beer

I still haven't actually made this ale, but it has always interested me. Spicy, non?? Please enjoy, and if you do make it, tell me.

Time in Boil: 90 mins
Primary Fermentation: 1 week
Secondary Fermentation: 4 weeks
- 1.36 kg Light dried malt
- 1.36 kg dark dried malt
- 454 g chocolate malt
- 230 g crystal malt
- 250 g dextrose or sugar
- 58 g Kent Goldings hop pellets
- 43 g Saaz hop pellets
- 4 chopped Habenero or Jalepeno peppers/chilli's
- 1 ale yeast
Place grains in 5.46L of water and bring to 70š, then let steep for 1/2 hour. Sparge with 2.3L of water. Add malt extracts and dextrose, and bring to boil. At onset of boil, add the Kents. After 30 mins, add 15g of Saaz. After 45 min, add 15g Saaz and the chilli's. Boil for 15 min, remove from the heat. Add the remaining hops, and let sit covered for 15 mins. Remove the chilli's. Put 13.5L of water into the fermenter, then strain in the wort. Top up to 20 L mark. Cool back to 26š C, pitch yeast. Take hydro reading. Ferment for a week. Take another reading, bottle as usual.
