This beer is a lovely dark gold colour and has a good hop bite. Only trouble is my family like this one as much as I do so it never last long enough!

Batch Size: 4.5 gallons imp
Starting Gravity: 1.043
Finishing Gravity: 1.009
Time in Boil: 90 minutes
Primary Fermentation: 2 days
Secondary Fermentation: 5 days
Ingredients:
- Pale Malt 2.8kg
- Amber Malt 510g

- Challebger Hops 36g (EBU 35)
- Prgress Hops 28g

- Yeast reclaimed from a Fullers 1845.
Procedure:
Mash at 65 degrees C for 90 minutes. Boil for 90 minutes adding the Challenger hops at the start of the boil. Add the Progress Hops for the last 15 minutes along 5g Irish Moss. Ferment for 2 days then drop. Ferment for a another 5 days the barrel.
