This is the infamous Calgary's Own gonad beer.
It's really a bitter, make it and judge for yerself.
It comes in @ 6.3%/vol - quite nice for the holiday season.
Probably knock it back to a more quaffable 5.0% next time.

- 1.0 lb Munich Dark, 27 Lov
- 5.0 oz Wheat
- 1.0 lb Crystal 70 lov
- 0.75 lb Vienna
- 1.0 oz Black patent

- HOPS
- 2.0 oz No Brewer, lf 8.0 - 60 mins
- 0.5 oz cascade , pels 4.4 - 15 mins
- 0.5 oz Styr Goldings, plugs 5.0 - 10 mins
- 0.5 oz Cascade, pels 4.4 2 mins
- 0.25 oz Styr Goldings 8.0 dry hop in Secondary 12 days

- 1/2 tsp Irish Moss last 15 mins
- Burton type salts

- Wyeast 1056 american
Procedure:
Mash grain into 15 litres water @ 172. Stabilize @ 151F 1 1/2 hrs or until conversion.
Mash out.
Sparge w/ 16.4 litres.
Start boil with 26 litres
End up with 23.5 litres.
Pitch 1 litre yeast starter.
Sparge hops w/ 1.5 litres
23.5 litres to plastic primary.
Rack to 23 litre glass carboy.
