This beer is very smooth and I have found using only 3/4 cup of priming sugar is too little sugar for carbonation so I increased the quantity to 1 cup.
This a fine tasting and easy recipe for stout lovers.

Recipe type: Partial Mash
Batch Size: 6 Gallons
Starting Gravity: 1.055
Finishing Gravity: 1.010
Time in Boil: 30 Minutes
Primary Fermentation: 2 Weeks
Secondary Fermentation: 2 Weeks
Additional Fermentation: None
Ingredients:
- Black Rock Stout Kit
- 1/4lb Barley
- Cascade Boiling Hops
- 3lbs Dark Powder Malt
- 1 cup Priming Sugar
Procedure:
Boil Water to loosen contents in Black Rock Stout Kit.
Boil 1 gallon of water. When water boils add the kit,
barley and hops (use a steeping bag to reduce sediment).
Boil contents for 30 minutes. Cool wort and add yeast.
After secondary fermentation bottle and let stand for
two more weeks. The beer tastes best after 6 weeks.
You may add more barley for a dryer taste.
