VERY SIMPLE, VERY GOOD. THIS IS A GOOD RECIPE TO GET YOUR
FRIENDS WHO DRINK COMMERCIAL BEER TO TRY A HOMEBREW WITHOUT
BEING OVERWHELMED.

Primary Fermentation: 6 DAYS
Secondary Fermentation: 4 DAYS
Ingredients:
- 6.6 LBS LIGHT MALT EXTRACT
- 1/2 LB CRYSTAL MALT
- 2 0Z MT. HOOD HOPS (3.2 ALPHA)
- 1 OZ TETTNANGER HOPS
- 1 PKG MUNTON'S ALE YEAST
- 3/4 CUP CORN SUGAR FOR BOTTLING
Procedure:
STEEP CRYSTAL MALT IN 2 GAL. COLD WATER UNTIL BOILING, REMOVE.
ADD MALT EXTRACT AND MT. HOOD HOPS
BOIL 55 MIN. THEN ADD TETTNANGER HOPS
SPARGE INTO 3 GAL. COLD WATER, PITCH YEAST WHEN COOL
AFTER SECONDARY FERMENTATION,PRIME WITH CORN SUGAR AND BOTTLE.
STORE FOR 7 DAYS AT CELLAR TEMP. CHILL FOR 4 DAYS AND ENJOY !
