This beer is a must when fishing midges on a limestone
creek in the middle of January. Once you try this, you will never use another spinning rod. Your bait throwing
days are over.

Batch Size: 5 Gallons
Starting Gravity: 1.056
Finishing Gravity: 1.016
Time in Boil: 60 minutes
Primary Fermentation: 3-5 days
Secondary Fermentation: 10 days
Additional Fermentation: N/A
Ingredients:
- 3/4 # 40L Crystal malt
- 4.4 # Morgans Chocolate malt extract
- 3 # Muntons dark DME
- 1/3 oz. Black patent malt
- 1/2 # Chocolate Macadamia Nut coffee beans
- 1 oz. Hallertau (50 minutes)
- 1/4 oz. cascade (40 minutes)
- 1084 Wyeast Irish yeast
- 1 tsp Irish moss ( 15 minutes)
- 3/4 cup priming sugar
Procedure:
Steep grains and coffee at 150 degrees for 30 minutes.
Add malt and DME and bring to boil. Add hops accordingly.
Add irish moss accordingly. Pitch yeast at 70 degrees
