Really tasty, mild ale. Nice blend of malt and hops without one ingredient dominating.

Finishing Gravity: 1.012
Time in Boil: 60min
Primary Fermentation: 7d@65F
Secondary Fermentation: 14d@50F
Ingredients:
- 6.66lb amber extract syrup, 1lb 40L crystal, 1/2lb carapils,
- 1/4lb chocolate malt, 2oz Northern Brewer pellets,
- 1oz Liberty pellets, 1oz Cascade pellets, 1tsp yeast energizer, 1tsp Irish moss, 12oz yeast starter from cultured Sierra Nevada pale ale
Procedure:
Steep grains in 4 gal water at 150 for about 30min. Remove grains, add extract and boil. Add 2oz Northern Brewer for bittering (60min), add yeast energizer, add 1oz Liberty for flavor (10min), add Irish moss, add 1oz Cascade at finish. Cool with wort chiller. Add to fermenter and add bottled water to bring volume to 5gal. Ferment as above. Kegged for 2 weeks and enjoying as I type.
