This is my stock beer recipe, I always have at least 5 to 10 gallons of it on hand at all times. I've tried it with Hallertau and Tettnanger hops too. It comes out great everytime I've brewed it.

Recipe type: All Grain
Batch Size: 5 Gallons
Starting Gravity: 1.048
Finishing Gravity: 1.016
Time in Boil: 70 Minutes
Primary Fermentation: 7 Days @ 48F in plastic
Secondary Fermentation: 21 Days @ 36F in ss soda keg
Ingredients:
- 10 lbs. Klages 2 row
- 8 oz. crystal 20L
- 8 oz. Cara-pils dextrine
- 0.5 oz. Saaz hop pellets (4.4%AA) 70 minutes
- 1.5 oz. Saaz pellets 60 minutes
- 1 oz. Saaz pellets 20 minutes
- 1.5 oz. Saaz pellets when I turn off the heat
- Wyeast 2124 1/2 gallon starter
Procedure:
Added crushed grains to 2.75 +/- gallons of 175F water and stabilised at 153F for 60 minutes.
Added 1.5 +/- gallons of boiling water to heat mash to 170F and hold for 15 minutes.
Sparge with 3 +/- gallons of 175F water.
Top up fermenter with boiled and cooled water to 5.25 gallons
