A nice not-too-bitter amber that your Bud/Miller/Coors friends will like.

Recipe type: Extract
Batch Size: 5 gal.
Starting Gravity: 1.048
Finishing Gravity: 1.011
Time in Boil: 60 mins.
Primary Fermentation: 5 days
Secondary Fermentation: 3 days
Additional Fermentation: n/a
Ingredients:
- Grain: 1 lb. American Crystal (40L)
- Extract: 6.6 lbs. Munton's Amber LME
- Boiling Hops: 1oz. Fuggles pellets(30 mins)
- Flavor Hops: 1/2 oz. Tettnang pellets(10 mins)
- Aroma Hops: 1/2 oz. Tettnang pellets
- 2 packs Munton's Ale Yeast (Dry)
Procedure:
Placed grain in ~2 gals cold water and raised to 150 F. Held for 20 mins.
Remove grain and brought to boil. Added extract and boiling hops.
50 mins. into boil, added 1/2 oz. Tettnang
at 60 mins. added other 1/2 oz. Tettnang, cut off heat & let steep for 2 mins.
Cooled to about 100 F and transferred to fermenter. Diluted to 5 gals.
Pitched dry yeast at about 75 F.
Fermentation was 5 days @ 74 F. Racked to primary at 1.011. Three days later, had cleared nicely and was still at 1.011.
Primed with 3/4 c. corn sugar and bottled. About 12 days to proper carbonation
