Great pale ale like Sierra Nevada, but with a little more malt and hop kick. I assume a 70% mash efficiency here, so adjust malt bill as neccessary for your needs.

Batch Size: 5 gallons
Starting Gravity: 1.058
Finishing Gravity: 1.009
Time in Boil: 75 min.
Primary Fermentation: 7-10days in glass
Secondary Fermentation: 10-14days in glass
Additional Fermentation: 1 week in keg(artificially carbonated)
Ingredients:

- >10# american 2-row pale ale malt
- >1# Munich malt
- >1/2# 60lv. crystal malt
- >1/2# carapils
- ............................................................
- >1-1/4oz. Perle pellet hops(or ~35IBU's of your favorite bittering hop)for 60min.
- >1oz. Cascade leaf hops(15min.)
- >2oz. Cascade leaf hops(1min.)
- >1oz. Cascade leaf hops dry hop 1week in secondary(optional)

- >Irish moss and yeast nutrient as preferred.

- >1pt. starter of Wyeast 1056 American Ale
Procedure:
Protein rest at 122F for 20 min(optional). Raise temp to 150F for 60-75min or until conversion. Sparge with 5.5gal 170F water for 45min-1hr. Boil for ~15min and start with hop additions. Chill, aerate, and pitch yeast slurry.
