Beginners Simple pale ale

This is a beginners guide to a simple yet pleasent pale ale. I still make this ale on occasion for an after work beverage.
Specifics
Recipe type: Extract
Batch Size: 5 gallons
Starting Gravity: 1.016
Finishing Gravity: 1.052
Time in Boil: 1 hour
Primary Fermentation: 5 days
Secondary Fermentation: 5 days
Ingredients:
- 3.3lbs Munton's light extract
- 3lbs Munton's dry extract
- 1oz.Chinook hops(bittering)
- 1oz.Cascade hops (aroma)
- 2 packs Munton's Ale Yeast
Procedure:
Bring 2 1/2 gallons water to rolling boil. Remove from heat add extracts and chinook hops. Stir continously for 45 minutes. After 45mins. add cascade hops continue boil. At exactly 1 hour pull wort from heat and quick chill until wort is able to be touched comfortably. While wort is chilling hydratr yeast by putting 2 packs yeast with 1 tblspoon corn sugar in 8oz. warm water let stand 15 mins. When wort has chilled sparge into carboy and pitch yeast. Ferment 5 days, bottle with 1 cup corn sugar for priming, leave in bottle 5 days chill and enjoy.
