	California Homebrew Club of the Year: 1994 

The Maltose Falcon's is the nation's oldest Home Brew Club. In 1994 we are celebrating our 20th Aniversary. There are currently over 300 active members. The club is based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area but we have members all over the world. Many people join our club just to get the monthly newsletter. All join because of the common love of malted beverages. The club has a number of events throughout the year. We host both the Maifair and L.A. County Fair Home Brew Competitions. We have a spring festival called Mayfair, a summer trip called Sunfest, and an Octoberfest. There are numerous other acitivies, including monthly meetings, group brews at the Home Beer and Wine Shop in Woodland hills, special tastings throughout the year.
