This a very easy and cheap but rewarding recipe. I have made different versions of it. But this is the best.So enjoy and let me know what you think.

Recipe type: Extract
Batch Size: 5 gallons
Starting Gravity: .048
Finishing Gravity: .010
Time in Boil: 60 minutes
Primary Fermentation: 3 to 4 days
Secondary Fermentation: 5 days
Additional Fermentation: none
Ingredients:
- 5 lbs. of munton dry x-lite
- 2 oz. Northern Brewer hops
- 6 oz. Victory malt
- 4 oz. Chocolate malt
- 6 oz. Crystal 60 degree malt
- 3/4 cup corn surgar (for priming)
- 1 Wyeast 1056
Procedure:
Bring 2 gallons of water to 170 degree, soak in a grain bag the victory,chocolate,and crystal malts. Let soak for 25 minutes. Remove grain bag and bring to boil. Add 5 lbs of dry malt extract and 1 oz. of Northern Brewer hops. Boil for 30 minutes add 1/2 oz. of Nothern Brewer hop. Last 10 minutes add 1/2 oz.Northern Brewer hop and 1 teaspoon of Irish Moss. Strain wort into primary fermenter, add 3 gallons of cold water and pitch yeast. 3 to 4 day's primary,5 days secondary then bottle using 3/4 cup corn surgar. 10 day's later enjoy!
