Brown Ale

This beer tastes fine. It is brown, malty, and slightly bitter. I don't get much nutty flavor, so I would increase the chocolate malt.

Ingredients:

6 pounds, English Amber malt syrup
1/2 pound, Light English dried malt extract
1/2 pound, crystal malt (40L)
1/2 pound, chocolate malt
1 pound, light brown sugar
10 HBU, Cascade
1 ounce, Cascade (finishing; 5.8% alpha)
Wyeast English Ale yeast
